Well...what’s an MRO?
MRO is an acronym for Maintenance, Repair and Operations, namely an aeronautical sector that deals with the repair of any type of mechanical, hydraulic or electrical equipment that may be out of the use or broken.
MRO is used to define the set of operations that aim to maintain or restore an object to a state in which it can perform the required function and be put back into service by flight.
It also includes the execution of routine actions that keep the device in order and operation (ie so-called scheduled maintenance) or that prevent problems from arising (so-called preventive maintenance).
IATS Group is an ENAC Part 145 certified MRO concerning C20 structural components, and components other than complete engines or APU. It is one of the most important MRO in Italy, operating in the territory of Roccadaspide. The work is carried out in stations dedicated to the maintenance and put in place by an experienced and specialized team.
The activities are carried out on civil aviation structural components, or metal parts subject to use or impact. The object of our repairs is the components of every kind of airplane, from the two-seater to the Boeing, from the helicopters to the Canadair CL-415.
The repair activities concern various types of components: from mufflers to aluminium filters, from pipes to thermal blankets, from exhaust units to hot sections, up to flap tracks.
